2. I think the artist's underlying idea in her work is to create industrial looking paintings using shapes and mostly primary colors. All of her pieces are very bold and feel worn.
3. The artist creates visual coherence by using the same colors and shapes in all of her pieces. The placement of the shapes is different, and the sizes of the paintings are different. But, other than that, her pieces are very similar.
4. This artists uses color and shape in her pieces. The way she paints also creates some texture in her paintings.

2. I think the underlying idea in this artist's work is to create movement in his pieces. All 3 of the pieces are made with brush strokes that make the picture look like it is blurring or like it is moving.

4. This artist uses color in his paintings. He also has value and shape in his pieces.

Bring on the bloggers
I successfully got a friend outside of art class, kwalka herself, to create a blog. This will make up for her not having a twitter! Blogging is gonna be so much more fun now! I feel accomplished
